Two teens from Orlando were killed after their SUV struck a tree in Osceola County just before 10 p.m. Sunday.

Troopers said the crash took place near Osceola Parkway and Seralago Boulevard when a Chevrolet Equinox was moving north on Seralago Boulevard and the vehicle went throughout the grass median and southbound lanes before striking a tree.

A 14-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy were pronounced dead at the scene.

They were not wearing seat belts.

Five others in the vehicle were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
