Two killed after car crash on Route 30 near Lancaster

Two people died following a car crash on Wednesday morning on Route 30 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

The crash involved a passenger vehicle and a box truck.

The incident was first reported on Route 30 east around 9:13 a.m.

The crash resulted in closing both Route 30 east between the Columbia/Marietta exit and the Prospect Road exit. Route 30 west is shut between the Mountville exit and the Columbia/Marietta exit.

It is not known that what caused the crash.

The identities of the victims were not released as of yet.

West Hempfield Township police is investigating the crash.
