Two people died after a car crash in Lonepine, Sanders County, Montana on Monday.
The crash took place when a 31-year-old woman and a 2-year-old child were traveling in a 2001 Nissan approaching the intersection of MT Highway 28 and Lonepine Road around 9:30 a.m, and the woman failed to stop at a stop sign, which resulted in the northbound vehicle crash with the Nissan.
Both occupants of the Nissan were pronounced dead at the scene.
The 39-year-old driver of the second vehicle didn’t have serious injuries.
Neither driver was said to have been driving under influence.
The Montana Highway Patrol investigated the crash.
