Two killed after car crashed into pillar on I-20 in Dallas

A driver and her passenger died following a car crash in Dallas on Friday night.

Dallas firefighters attended the crash on Interstate 20 at Highway 67 around 12:30 a.m. Friday.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Firefighters admitted her passenger to the hospital, but he died succumbed to his injuries there.

Officials believe the crash took place when the car veered off the highway and hit a bridge support pillar.

It is yet to be known that what caused the crash.
