Two killed after two-car crash in St. Clair County

Two people were killed in a two-car crash on Thursday around 1 p.m. on Kinney Road (M-19) near Burt Road in Riley Township, north of Interstate 69 in Michigan.

Three people were also injured with severe injuries, according to the St. Clair Sheriff’s Office.

The crash took place when a 2021 GMC Terrain headed north on Kinney crashed with a 2021 Nissan Altima, which was traveling south on Kinney.

A 27-year-old Warren woman was driving the Altima and a 15-year-old male from Emmett was a passenger.

Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

A 3-year-old boy was found in the back seat and was hospitalized. He is in critical condition at McLaren Port Huron Hospital.

The 40-year-old woman who was driving Terrain was hospitalized along with an 18-month-old child.

They were reported to be in critical condition.

St. Clair County Sheriff’s deputies were investigating the crash.
