Two killed after two-vehicle crash in Baldwin County

Two Bay Minette Residents were killed Friday after a two-vehicle crash in Baldwin County, Alabama.

The crash took place on Alabama 225 near the 21-mile marker, about six miles north of Bay Minette.

It was around 6:40 p.m. Friday night, when 82-year-old James Smith and 76-year-old Juanita Smith of Bay Minette, were rear-ended by a vehicle driven by a 44-year-old identified as James Williams.

The Smith’s vehicle then left the road before striking a tree.

Both James and Juanita were pronounced dead at the scene.

Alabama Law Enforcement Agency investigated the crash.
