Two killed after wrong-way crash on I-69 near Morrice

A head-on car crash on early Sunday took the lives of two drivers in Michigan.

A 20 year old driver identified as Arthur Moya, of Battle Creek was driving a Ford Escape east in the westbound lanes of Interstate 69 near Morrice around 3 a.m. Sunday when he crashed with a Mazda 3 driven by the 32-year-old driver as Ryan Laubhan, of Saginaw.

Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.

There was no one else in both vehicles other than the drivers.

Both drivers were using seatbelts.

Alcohol is suspected to be a factor in the crash, according to Michigan State Police.
