Two killed, one injured after car crash on Route 153 in Clearfield County

Two people were killed and one was injured after a car crash on Route 153 in Boggs Township, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania on Tuesday morning.

The two-vehicle crash took place just before 10 a.m. on Crooked Sewer Road (Route 153) just south of Jericho Lane when a 69-year-old woman was traveling south before she crossed lanes and hit the second vehicle.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 68-year-old passenger in the second car died as well while the 78-year-old driver was flown to UPMC Altoona with suspected serious injuries.

Their identities were not released as of yet.

Pennsylvania State Police is investigating the crash.
