2 dead after two-vehicle crash in Weld County, Colorado

Two people died after a semi and pickup truck crashed on early Wednesday morning on Highway 14 in Weld County, Colorado.

According to Colorado State Patrol, the crash took place around 3:56 a.m. near Weld County Road 31.

County Road 31 to 29 were closed following the crash. It reopened around 10 a.m.

The driver of the semi had been traveling eastbound and the pickup was moving westbound when the crash took place.

Two people in the pickup died in the collision. The driver was a 25-year-old woman and the passenger was a 28-year-old woman. Their identities have not been released yet.
