2010 Porsche Cayenne Diesel from Superchips

by Alex

Performance is not the major issue that a diesel car focuses upon. It is rather fuel efficiency that the car boasts of. A master tuner however would have the capability to turn a diesel car into something which delivers both power as well as fuel efficiency. The 2010 Porsche Cayenne Diesel 3.0 TDI model has been so dome up by tuning firm Superchips. They have been able to achieve a power increase by 47 bhp at 4044 rpm while peak torque has also been raised by 82 Nm. The beauty of this kit is that while boosting the power factors there has been no change to the existing fuel consumption rate which remains at 8.2 liters/100 kilometers (equal to 34.4 mpg imp). Due to the extra low rev torque there is even an improvement on fuel consumption.

The SUV with the modification now gives 287 HP from its standard 240 HP and this figure is a bit closer to the SUV’s gas-powered brother that develops 300 HP.

The kit is available at £445 and is offered with a 12 month/30,000 supplementary warranty.
