Powerful, Posh and something really Big! comes at our mind when we hear that Carlsson, Mercedes and coupe have come in together to give us 2012 Mercedes C-Class Coupe CB 20S, If you didn’t had the chance to buy one of the 25 Carlsson C25 units, the tuner is now offering you another alternative: the CB 20S.
This one is possibly the most sensible car Carlsson has ever made. It is based on the C-Class coupe, but it’s not a C63 AMG. It is in fact based on an entry-level C180 Coupe.
The Carlsson package is pretty good, As the standard 156 hp engine in the C180 is boosted by Carlsson to 201 horsepower and 340 Nm of torque, which means the car can now go from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.1 seconds and tops 233 km/h.
The exterior package includes a new front grille with a polished stainless steel grille, a new front spoiler lip made in carbon fiber and a new rear diffuser in conjunction with the Carlsson four-pipe sports exhaust system. The car sits on a new set of 19″ alloy wheels combined with Carlsson sport springs.
The new package is based on the C-Class Coupe and is significantly cheaper when compared to the C25, prices will start from 34,900 Euro ($43,800), plus 4,986 euro ($6,200) for a customizable leather / Alcantara interior from the Carlsson Signature Line.
The new package will be available from September 1st, 2012.
All said, Its for sure, now that Mercedes has pinned their C- class with Carlsson,its definitely going to make many Mercedes fanatics go, ga-ga for the all new 2012 Mercedes C-Class Coupe CB 20S!
