Lexus announced this week that they will offer Nurburgring Package limited edition for LFA owners. This package will boost the power of the 4.8L V-10 engine by 10 horsepower pushing the total output of the car to 562 hp.
Based on the figures, this Lexus can blast from 0 to 62 miles per hour in just 3.7 seconds. The top speed is pegged at 202 miles per hour. Faster changing of gear is possible as the gear-shift time was improved by 0.05 seconds and is now at 0.15.
The LFA Nurburgring Package will only have a very limited run of 50 units. The package will feature suspensions that are sport-tuned, exclusive black rims with mesh-type design, high-grip tires, bigger spoiler up front, and fixed wing for the rear for better downforce.
The limited edition package for the LFA will be offered in different exterior colors like orange, whitest white, matte black, and black. It will come in red, violet, and red for the interior colors. The package also installs door trims and center console made from carbon fiber.
The package is priced at $70,000 while consumers who want the matte black finishing will have to shoulder an additional $20,000. The stock LFA has a sticker price of $375,000.
