Switzer R911S makes Porsche 911 a 911 horsepower speed monster

by Alex

Switzer has worked its magic on the Porsche 911 GT2 RS so that the sports car that already is the most powerful that Porsche has ever produced now gets a further performance enhancement that sees the iconic car make a massive 911hp. Yes, you have heard it right, the Switzer R911S now gets the power of an incredible 911 horses. That is a full 241hp more that what the production version 911 GT2 RS is able to punch out.

The kit that promises this massive power boost is based on the P800 package from Switzer devised for the GT2 and is able to unleash that many horses on the back of some intelligent fine tuning.

A “titanium inverted-front-strut, remote-reservoir suspension” specially developed by JRZ ensures taming the beast is not a chore. Switzer will custom-tunes each of the car as per owner’s desired level of experience when ordered though it is still anybody’s guess as to how that many horses can be kept under control.

Then on offer is a version that’s extremely light. Christened the R911S Carbon, the car has been able to shed off its weight due to the use of carbon fiber body panels made by Seibon.

Coming to the price, the base R911S commands a price tag of a shade under $200,000 while the lightweight Carbon will set one back by a cool $240,000.
